•Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure secure, high-performance IT operations.
•Configure/install network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and conduct performance monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting.
•Maintain and enforce network security policies and controls aligned with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
•Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for incident response, change management, and service continuity; manage access controls, firewall rules, and IDS/IPS.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship, develop training, assign workload, and maintain documentation and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.

Salary: USD 107,469.17 - 183,005.25 annually

Key Requirements

•Active DOE Q clearance (or equivalent) is required for consideration.
•Minimum 3 years as a Senior Network Engineer within the last 5 years.
•10+ years (MA/MS) or 12+ years (BA/BS) in network administration, operations, and security.
•Hands-on experience building, installing, and configuring network infrastructure and hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
•ITIL certification (required) plus preferred industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP.
