Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently execute red-team designs, models, and analyses to hunt failure modes, surface hidden assumptions, and pressure-test trade studies.
  • •Contribute to models and simulations to prove or break claims, developing analysis tooling when needed.
  • •Reconstruct and independently verify others’ work to find errors missed by others.
  • •Work cross-functionally with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams, translating findings into actionable design guidance.
  • •Apply hands-on systems-building intuition so problems are caught in analysis, not in flight, and communicate results to engineers and leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • •Hands-on track record designing/building and analyzing real engineering systems (not analysis-only).
  • •Proven ability to find problems others miss through failure analysis, adversarial review, or independent verification.
  • •Demonstrated independence in owning and executing deliverables with little to no management.
  • •Proficiency with physics-math scripting (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python with numpy/scipy) and strong communication of complex data.
