Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform abrasive blasting on valves, actuators, fabricated components, and customer-returned equipment to meet surface preparation standards.
  • •Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, inspection, assembly, and refurbishment activities.
  • •Remove rust, scale, coatings, and contaminants to achieve required cleanliness and surface profile specifications.
  • •Safely operate blasting equipment and recovery systems, including overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • •Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in abrasive blasting, surface preparation, manufacturing, fabrication, industrial maintenance, or a related environment.
  • •LF Forklift Licence.
  • •Overhead Crane Licence.
  • •Experience using overhead cranes, lifting equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • •Ability to follow work instructions and interpret drawings or technical documentation.
