Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute high-quality code for secure, scalable infrastructure building blocks that underpin Palantir Foundry and Gotham.
  • •Build performant search and indexing systems for granular permissioned data.
  • •Develop distributed systems that power large-scale compute workloads, including scheduling and orchestration.
  • •Design robust, opinionated APIs and primitives to keep application developers on a successful path.
  • •Automate deployment, management, and operations of distributed systems across environments (e.g., Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka).

Key Requirements

  • •Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, Rust, or similar.
  • •Experience designing and building highly-available distributed systems (beneficial, but not strictly required).
  • •Ability to build architecture and opinionated APIs with users in mind while maintaining a high engineering bar.
  • •Experience with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and technical tools.
  • •Understanding of distributed systems performance, observability, and tracing in high-scale microservice architectures.
