Job Summary

Partner with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver corporate actuarial valuations and insights. Lead MCEV and New Business Value workstreams, support statutory and IFRS reserves, and perform experience studies and assumption reviews. Build forecasts and run sensitivity and scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions. Maintain and enhance actuarial valuation models and reporting tools, ensuring outputs meet internal governance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support actuarial valuation activities across multiple frameworks including MCEV, NBV, statutory reserves, IFRS reserves, RBC, and management performance reporting.
•Ensure valuation results are accurate, insightful, and delivered in line with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
•Analyze financial performance and emerging business trends, explaining key drivers of profitability and value creation to support business decisions.
•Maintain and enhance actuarial valuation models and reporting tools, including testing, validation, and implementation of methodology changes.
•Perform experience studies and assumption reviews by analyzing mortality, persistency, expenses, and other key assumptions, and supporting recommendation processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
•Progress in actuarial professional examinations (SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Insurance actuarial functions.
•Experience in one or more areas such as valuation, financial reporting, Embedded Value (EV/MCEV), New Business Value (NBV), IFRS reporting, capital management, experience studies, and actuarial modelling.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent Excel skills and actuarial modelling capability.
