Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain monitoring checks to ensure compliance with approved risk limits and position/mark-to-market reports.
  • •Assist in marking relevant wholesale and retail price curves, including implied hourly scalers and scarcity premiums.
  • •Serve as the business analyst for Supply-related IT projects and ensure trading systems represent trading book risk profiles.
  • •Support financial analysis and deliverables, including risk and pricing model inputs and supply-driven drivers impacting forward and settled retail gross margins.
  • •Coordinate Supply-related management presentations, contract executions, and project management activities, including financial modeling/data mining for variance analysis and budgeting/forecasting support.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 138,000 - 153,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative hard science.
  • •5–8 years of work experience in the energy industry.
  • •Experience in deregulated electricity markets.
  • •Ability to assess mathematical derivative pricing models in real-world market conditions.
  • •Excellent interpersonal/presentation skills and strong verbal and writing communication, with ability to multitask under multiple deadlines.
