Key Responsibilities

  • •Support NPD, lifecycle, and i2V engineering projects for industrial air compressors and dryers for product/site teams.
  • •Perform mechanical design including calculations, selection of static parts and sub-assemblies, and creation of 3D CAD assemblies and drawings for manufacture.
  • •Prepare accurate engineering BoMs, assembly, and drawings for the ECR/ECN process in Windchill PLM.
  • •Execute engineering work aligned with project technical, timing, and quality requirements.
  • •Create documentation and presentation materials for NPD/i2V design reviews, RCAs, and communicate with global stakeholders (including remote work).

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of design experience with compressor/blower/vacuum pump or similar packaged, rotating equipment, including subsystem sizing, selection, and integration (e.g., motors, heat exchangers, dryers, valves).
  • •2+ years of expertise in large sheet metal and piping assemblies for pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
  • •2+ years hands-on modeling experience using CREO 9 (or higher) and Inventor (2019 or higher), plus Windchill PLM.
  • •Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
  • •B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (full-time course).
