Tax Director - Americas (Los Angeles)

Lead Americas tax strategy for ByteDance, ensuring tax compliance, risk management, and efficient tax planning across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM. Oversee direct and indirect tax operations, audits, and implementation of global HQ tax policies. Monitor DST, VAT/GST, and other regulatory changes, advise business teams on new initiatives, and support M&A, restructurings, and expansion through due diligence and structuring. Standardize processes, leverage technology, and develop the regional tax team.
