Job Summary

Develop, coordinate, and continuously improve site environmental programs covering hazardous/non-hazardous waste, wastewater, air emissions, noise, refrigerants, groundwater, and related management systems. Play a key role in compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO 14001, including trend review, documentation, awareness/training, incident investigation, and root-cause analysis. Analyze EHS data to identify improvement focus areas and collaborate with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage site environmental programs (hazardous/non-hazardous waste, wastewater, air emissions, noise, refrigerants, groundwater, and management systems).
•Ensure compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO 14001, including reviewing compliance results/trends and supporting environmental management system elements (awareness/training, documentation, program projects).
•Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis related to environmental compliance.
•Support environmental engineers and become a primary owner for environmental media programs (with secondary ownership for other programs).
•Analyze EHS data to identify trends and define focus areas for continuous improvement, collaborating with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 59,200 - 111,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Third-level qualification (NFQ level 8) in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering, or NFQ level 8 in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
•8+ years of relevant work experience.
•Detailed knowledge of environmental legislation and practice, including experience dealing with the EPA (wastewater management experience advantageous).
•Proficiency in data management/Excel.
•Practical experience with EHS management systems.
