Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and continuously improve site environmental programs (waste, wastewater, air emissions, noise, refrigerants, groundwater, and management systems).
  • •Ensure compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO14001 by reviewing compliance results/trends, supporting the environmental management system, and driving environmental management programme projects.
  • •Conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis related to environmental compliance.
  • •Become a primary owner for environmental media programmes by supporting other Environmental Engineers at the site.
  • •Analyze EHS data to identify trends and define focus areas for continuous improvement, collaborating with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 59,200 - 111,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Third level qualification (NFQ level 8) in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering, or NFQ level 8 in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • •8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • •Knowledge of environmental legislation and practice, including experience dealing with the EPA.
  • •Proficiency in data management, including Excel.
  • •Experience with EHS management systems.
