Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with hardware design teams across the product development lifecycle to incorporate EMC compliance early in the design process.
•Review schematics, PCB layouts, mechanical designs, routing, shielding, grounding, and system architectures to identify EMC risks and recommend improvements.
•Perform pre-compliance and compliance EMC testing with analysis to diagnose EMI issues and develop practical, cost-effective mitigation solutions.
•Lead EMC debugging using laboratory instrumentation (e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, near-field probes, LISNs, network analyzers, current probes).
•Support worldwide regulatory certifications and develop EMC design guidelines, best practices, and documentation to improve first-pass compliance success.

Key Requirements

•7+ years hands-on experience in EMC design, testing, and troubleshooting for electronic products.
•Strong understanding of electromagnetics, RF theory, antenna theory, transmission lines, and analog/digital circuit fundamentals.
•Solid knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and high-speed digital design principles.
•Hands-on experience reviewing schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical designs for EMC compliance, including root cause analysis of EMI issues.
•Proficiency with EMC laboratory equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, LISNs, network analyzers, near-field probes, and current probes.
