Job Summary

Serve as a technical leader for drinking water projects across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Lead planning, design, and delivery of water treatment, storage, transmission, distribution, and capital improvement work—addressing aging infrastructure, regulatory requirements, resilience, and growth. Oversee multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants, coordinate compliance through engineering documentation, and maintain client relationships. Support business development with proposals, interviews, and mentorship for the next generation of water professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform project management and professional engineering for complex drinking water infrastructure projects, including treatment, transmission, storage, pumping, distribution, and system planning.
•Act as a technical lead and subject matter expert across planning, design, permitting, and construction support for drinking water projects.
•Oversee multidisciplinary project teams and specialty subconsultants while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
•Coordinate, review, and approve engineering reports, technical memoranda, plans, specifications, and design calculations to ensure regulatory compliance.
•Support business development through client engagement, strategic account planning, proposals, and interviews; mentor engineers and project managers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources (or closely related).
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
•Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary drinking water infrastructure projects and coordinating with agency regulators.
•Strong technical computation, technical writing, and spreadsheet/software skills, with adherence to QA/QC and safety practices.
