Job Summary

Support the venue’s zero-waste and landfill-diversion efforts by assisting with recycling, composting, donations, and waste sorting before and after events. Work under the Venue Sustainability Manager as part of the venue operations team, participate in onboarding and education efforts for fans and crew, and maintain clean sorting areas. Collect “boots on the ground” observations, help improve circularity based on common waste-stream items, and follow local environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in venue sustainability crew onboarding training.
•Assist with mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
•Be available for both show days and non-show days to ensure waste is sorted and diverted.
•Relay on-the-ground observations to guide improvements and overall program development.
•Assist with educational support for crew members and fans, and support compliance with local environmental policies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17 - 20 hourly

Key Requirements

•Be willing to spend about 90% of the shift walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs.
•Work outdoors in variable weather and handle exposure to dirt and unpleasant odors.
•Show strong time management to arrive on time and work late hours.
•Work well with other departments and maintain a positive attitude.
•Have experience with events/zero-waste events (a plus).
