Job Summary

Lead structural engineering work as part of the India ME engineering team, taking a senior role across feasibility studies, detailed design, and QA/technical reviews. Define building requirements, assemble and monitor design specifications against employer needs, and coordinate complex calculations and sign-offs with local iCRC/CRC structures leads. Support tender documentation, handle day-to-day technical queries, and coach junior staff while keeping project delivery timelines on track.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare feasibility study reports in the agreed format and review them with the Local iCRC Head of Structures.
•Work with the WSP in India ME Team to assemble compliant design specifications, and monitor their preparation to delivery deadlines.
•Carry out detailed building structure design to codal standards with QA and technical review, including complex calculations and coordination, for sign-off.
•Review and monitor calculation production, ensure delivery-plan information is completed to deadlines, and keep the team informed on design progress and decisions.
•Lead the design process, follow document control and QA processes, and coach junior staff; also support tender-document information and handle day-to-day technical queries.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and membership to an accredited engineering body.
•Desirable: Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
•8+ years of experience.
•Strong proficiency with technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.
•Fluency in English and a sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
