Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors at shop and customer sites.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures and handle repairs both at the shop and at customer locations.
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs for power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle).
