Key Responsibilities

  • •Model, test, and tune assigned systems/subsystems within project budget and schedule.
  • •Prepare, review, and submit data collection lists and functional design specifications to the project lead.
  • •Review marked-up P&IDs and support pre-factory acceptance test and factory acceptance test activities in India or overseas to meet customer scope.
  • •Follow department quality procedures and complete quality checklists for assigned systems/subsystems during project stages.
  • •Integrate systems/subsystems for testing and support expert reviews and model standalone testing; work with global modeling teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or power plant engineering with 1-3 years of experience in coal or combined cycle power plant operation/modeling.
  • •Strong computer skills.

  • •Able to work in a team.
  • •Minimum English speaking and writing skills, with ability to travel and work abroad 30-40% of the time.
