Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the subject matter expert for technical accounting (including ASC 606 and ASC 842), researching and applying relevant GAAP guidance to unique transactions.
  • •Analyze legal agreements to identify contract terms that materially impact accounting conclusions (e.g., acceptance criteria, termination clauses, variable pricing, significant financing components, principal vs. agent).
  • •Lead key month-end close activities for assigned revenue streams, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
  • •Manage external audit engagement by preparing documentation and communicating complex accounting treatments.
  • •Coach and manage the team to reach sound technical conclusions independently, and operationalize accounting processes for billing, collections, and financial reporting including controls and automation.

Key Requirements
