Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve best-possible outcomes.
  • •Work with colleagues to plan engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and support student development alongside curriculum support staff.
  • •Assess and monitor student progress using school assessments and Target Tracker, then use data to influence planning and interventions.
  • •Manage classrooms and behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy, demonstrating positive role-model expectations.
  • •Collaborate with parents using feedback and school systems (e.g., CPOMS) and support wider school life, including running a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Commitment to educating the whole child with professionalism and attention to children’s well-being.
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check or police check.
