Key Responsibilities

  • •Own plant-level interface control and establish, maintain, and enforce Interface Control Documents between systems and balance-of-plant/site/transportation packages.
  • •Convert top-level functional/regulatory requirements into system-level performance requirements and maintain bidirectional traceability from FSAR/PSAR to component-level design specifications and back.
  • •Lead cross-discipline design integration reviews and resolve conflicts across piping routing, structural steel/civil embeds, electrical raceway separation, HVAC ducting, and I&C sensor placement.
  • •Serve as technical authority for the master 3D model and PLM environment; enforce clash detection cadence, model maturity gates, and configuration/document control per NQA-1.
  • •Support licensing by preparing and defending integration-related SAR sections, responding to licensing authority requests for additional information (RAIs), and evaluating design changes under applicable change-control processes.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering (MS strongly preferred).
  • •8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 4 years in nuclear, aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated systems-integration environment.
  • •Experience decomposing top-level requirements into system-level specifications and defending them under formal review.
  • •Working fluency with relevant nuclear and engineering codes/standards (e.g., ASME Section III, ASME B31.1/B31.3, ASME NQA-1, IEEE 603/384/7-4.3.2, 10 CFR Part 50/52/21).
  • •Hands-on proficiency with major 3D CAD/PLM and requirements-management tools (e.g., NX/Creo/SolidWorks; Teamcenter/Windchill/Enovia; DOORS/Jama/Polarion).
