Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate burring, cleaning, buffing, and blasting machines to generate rough and finish dimensions on parts.
  • •Perform nitride, heat treat, buff and blast operations, including hand operations required for surface finishing.
  • •Load/unload and monitor processing in heat treat baskets and furnaces, operate controls/instruments, and perform hardness tests.
  • •Perform visual and dimensional inspections, maintain accurate documentation and lot traceability (QCP 6.0), and record NCRs (QCP 11.0).
  • •Read and interpret moderately complicated blueprints, execute quality checks with gages, and maintain clean work areas with minor maintenance as needed.

  • •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided.
  • •This position requires access to export-controlled information; applicant must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • •Minimum one (1) year of machining/utility, heat treat or nitride experience.
  • •Minimum 2-year GD&T experience (Eaton Level 1 Advanced Training completion considered in lieu).
