Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare for and perform repair, modification, installation, and replacement of aircraft structures and structural parts per task cards with safety and operational requirements.
  • •Review task cards with the Engineer/Supervisor to confirm scope, documentation, priorities, and safety precautions before starting work.
  • •Conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications, accurately identifying, recording, and reporting defects or damage.
  • •Rectify structural defects and carry out installations/replacements using approved technical data and instructions.
  • •Execute assigned task cards and sign off in the Maintenance Information system; maintain communication and uphold housekeeping standards and safety procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Structural/Airframe discipline), or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • •Ability to perform fabrication activities and understand aircraft airframe systems, repair techniques, approved maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance task cards, and engineering instructions.
  • •Skilled in using equipment and standard workshop tools, with basic computer literacy for maintenance information systems.
  • •At least 2 years’ experience in airframe modification/repairs and parts installation/replacement on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types.
