Plan and implement silviculture programs across Prince George, including post-harvest assessments, site preparation, and silviculture surveys. Key Responsibilities

•Implement and manage silviculture program activities while meeting applicable reporting requirements.
•Participate in the development of annual budgets to achieve business plan targets.
•Track, report, and analyze safety, quality, cost, and delivery results.
•Ensure silviculture activities are conducted in compliance with legislation and Canfor’s Safety Policy, SAFE Company certification, Environment Policy, and Forest Management System.
•Maintain positive relations with stakeholders, the public, and government agencies, supporting a positive atmosphere for team development and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 79,450 - 113,500

Key Requirements

•Associated university degree or technical diploma with at least 2 years of forestry-related experience.
•Current registration as an RFT, FIT, or RPF with Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC).
•Excellent knowledge of applicable BC forestry and related legislation and policies.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, plus computer literacy in a Microsoft Office environment and related forestry software applications.
