Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure company personnel, office facilities, and business activities follow health, safety, security, and environmental responsibilities.
  • •Develop and implement project HSE risk management systems using ISO 14001 and ACWA Power guidelines.
  • •Plan, advise, implement, and monitor contractor and construction-site HSE activities.
  • •Monitor, assess, analyze HSE management performance and incident investigation status, and submit monthly reports.
  • •Review EPC contractor construction plans, risk assessments, and other HSE documents to ensure adequacy and compliance with EPC contract and project HSE plans; manage emergency and fire readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant fields (e.g., chemical water, civil/electrical engineering, new energy, engineering management).
  • •Be a recognized/qualified HSE certification audit officer trained by an approved institution.
  • •7+ years of relevant experience in power/heavy industry/chemical/oil & gas processing within multicultural teams.
  • •In-depth understanding of HSE management principles and project HSE practices, including desalination project construction and commissioning.
  • •Knowledge of hazard risk assessment and controls, accident investigation, fire-fighting equipment, first aid, PPE/safety equipment, and waste identification/classification/disposal.
