Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle non-litigated General Liability claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity, including slip/trip and falls, product liability, and premises liability injuries.
  • •Manage a caseload within specified authority limits from beginning to end with coaching and supervision.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external points of contact (customers, vendors, suppliers, brokers) to provide quality claims experience.
  • •Learn and apply established protocols and industry best practices to ensure efficient, effective, customer-centric claims handling.
  • •Develop technical skills in General Liability policy interpretation and coverage analysis to resolve claims effectively.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 49,500 - 81,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Claims Handling or Insurance, OR completion of the Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance, OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 2+ years, OR high school diploma/equivalent with 4+ years in Claims Handling or Insurance.
  • •Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
  • •Ability to handle and interpret General Liability policy coverage and perform coverage analysis/exposure determination.
