Job Summary

Lead the Group FP&A function by owning performance reporting and management information (MI). Drive timely, high-quality reporting that measures results versus plan and produces robust forecasts, translating insights into clear actions for the Life/Group CFO, ExCo, and the Board. Enhance reporting frameworks and processes to improve decision-making, identify performance gaps and opportunities, and align KPIs to the organization’s strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the Group’s performance reporting and management information (MI), delivering high-quality, timely reporting versus plan.
•Develop robust forecasts and use insights to support transparency for the Life/Group CFO, ExCo, and the Board.
•Enhance reporting frameworks and processes to enable better decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
•Shape the organization’s understanding of market position by identifying performance gaps and opportunities.
•Define and measure performance against KPIs aligned to the strategic direction, translating external intelligence into actionable recommendations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 125,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in FP&A, commercial, or strategic finance roles with a track record of influencing business decisions through insight-driven analysis.
•Deep understanding of financial frameworks in the Financial Services sector, including revenue drivers and market dynamics, with strong analytical skills.
•Experience building relationships with senior leaders (including ExCo) and confidence in constructive challenge.
•Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
•Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders using compelling narratives for strategic decision-making.
