Job Summary

Provide welding technical support for end customers and partners across Ontario, supporting the sales process through weld demonstrations, technical presentations, and equipment configuration expertise. Deliver customer and internal training, assist with installation and retrofit of manual and robotic welding equipment, and conduct on-site/remote weld tests to troubleshoot, optimize, and document results. Represent Fronius at trade shows and report market trends and customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support to end customers and partners in Ontario, Canada.
•Support the sales process with weld demonstrations, technical presentations, equipment configuration assistance, and technical expertise.
•Deliver training sessions for customers, partners, and the sales force, including training for new product launches.
•Troubleshoot and optimize welding applications on site or by phone or email, and conduct manual/robotic weld tests while documenting results.
•Assist with installation and retrofit of welding equipment for robotic and manual applications and provide technical support at trade shows while reporting market trends and customer feedback.

Key Requirements

•3-year diploma in Welding Engineering Technology and/or 5 years of welding experience.
•Strong hands-on welding skills in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
•Experience with robotic welding is an asset.
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
•Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM, and a valid driver’s license; English required.
