Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed piping analyses and designs according to design basis, project specifications, and codes/standards.
  • •Lead discipline engineering design and execution for assigned work areas/projects, ensuring delivery within schedule and budget and coordinating scope and deliverables.
  • •Supervise engineers and designers; train/mentor personnel and coach potential lead engineers.
  • •Manage piping material take-off (MTO) and quantity control, including material specifications, requisitions, computerized report inputs, and MTO close-out activities.
  • •Provide advanced pipe stress calculations/support design, manage interfaces with other disciplines, and support technical bid evaluations and vendor data reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •20+ years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • •Detailed knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and application of relevant standards, codes, and guidelines.
  • •Good knowledge of engineering software and the ability to work independently.
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or a member of a professional engineering society (as applicable).
