Key Responsibilities

  • •Post all daily room charges and unposted daily charges to the guest ledger, ensuring ledgers balance against control figures and folios agree.
  • •Audit guest ledger charges from all departments and balance on control sheets, including verifying ledger balances upon day closing.
  • •Handle front office cashier transactions during the night shift (normally 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.).
  • •Take the final reading on all food and beverage cash registers, audit F&B charges, and prepare the Daily F&B Revenue Report.
  • •Distribute PMS night audit checks/reports, test guest check prices and additions, verify restaurant ledger clearance, and follow company rules for fire, hygiene, health & safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a two-year college degree in accounting or other relevant field.
  • •Minimum of one year of hotel front desk experience, or one year handling cash, accounting procedures, and administrative tasks.
  • •Ability to perform daily auditing and balancing of guest and house accounts, including transactions therein.
  • •Experience auditing food and beverage charges and preparing daily F&B revenue reporting.
  • •Ability to work overnight front office cashier duties (night shift).
