Build and scale the technology stack for the residential mortgage loan business within the Infrastructure and Asset Based Credit (IABC) team. Partner with investment professionals, operations, data, and central technology to translate evolving lifecycle processes into robust systems, data infrastructure, APIs, and workflow automation. Own end-to-end development, reporting/analytics data foundations, and engineering best practices (testing, documentation, version control, CI/CD) to enable scalable, transparent decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Map and understand complex cross-functional processes across the residential mortgage loan lifecycle, identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale.
•Design and implement technology solutions including data pipelines, internal applications, APIs, and workflow automation for loan acquisition, financing, servicing oversight, and portfolio management.
•Coordinate projects across investment professionals, operations, data, and central technology teams to translate requirements into specifications and drive delivery to production.
•Build and maintain data infrastructure supporting reporting, analytics, and decision-making for the residential mortgage business.
•Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and version control to ensure reliable, maintainable, scalable systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical/engineering field.
•At least 3 years of professional experience as a software developer/engineer, shipping production systems in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong programming skills in Python, C++, C#, or Java, plus proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
•Hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines, APIs, and/or internal applications end-to-end.
•Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and modern engineering practices like version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
