Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Germany-specific government affairs and public policy strategies aligned with EU and global corporate priorities.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and influence legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across relevant ministries, agencies, and local governments.
  • •Build and maintain trusted relationships with German ministries, regulators, parliamentary stakeholders, public-sector institutions, embassies, think tanks, and industry bodies.
  • •Translate policy developments into business impact assessments, issue-to-action plans, and recommendations for internal stakeholders (leadership, sales, legal, compliance, communications).

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in law, public policy, political science, economics, business administration, international relations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • •10–15 years’ experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, public-sector procurement, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in Germany’s political system, regulatory processes, ministerial and parliamentary dynamics, and public procurement stakeholder ecosystem.
  • •Track record of senior-level engagement with government officials and public-sector stakeholders in Germany.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, producing clear briefings, policy submissions, and executive talking points.
