Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and translate them into system designs.
  • •Develop and maintain design standards packages tailored for large/repeat customer accounts.
  • •Create detailed system documentation for proposals and execution, including BOMs, block diagrams, infrastructure plans, and scopes of work.
  • •Assess project risks and account for site conditions, scheduling requirements, and dependencies during design development.
  • •Support implementation by providing technical input as the design authority and coordinating with vendors/contractors as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Translate customer needs into functional AV system designs in support of pre-sales and proposals.
  • •Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including clients, project managers, and field teams.
  • •Produce accurate, detailed design documentation (including BOMs, block diagrams, infrastructure plans, and scopes of work).
  • •Demonstrate strong problem-solving to identify and account for project risks, site conditions, scheduling requirements, and dependencies.
  • •Meet qualification requirements for AV/IT standards and tools, including IP networking/AVoIP understanding, CAD (AutoCAD/Bluebeam Revu), and 2+ relevant audio/DSP certifications (or equivalent experience).
