Job Summary

Temporary ROS2 robotics engineer to develop and integrate hardware and software across the robotics stack on the AISF project. You’ll build ROS2 nodes, simulate with Isaac Sim/Gazebo, and work on motion planning, navigation, and sensor fusion for production-ready systems in a fast-paced research environment.

Job Function: Executive & General Management

Key Responsibilities

•Develop ROS2 nodes, launch files, and interfaces to support inter- and intra-cell transport workflows
•Bring up and integrate robotic systems (arms, AMRs, mobile manipulators) into the AISF environment
•Build and maintain simulation environments (Isaac Sim and Gazebo) to de-risk hardware deployments
•Debug hardware/software integration end-to-end including kinematics, calibration, timing, and sensor issues
•Contribute domain depth in motion planning, navigation, localization, perception, or sensor fusion as needed

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
•Strong experience with ROS2: node development, launch files, and interfaces
•Solid understanding of robot kinematics (forward/inverse, Jacobians, transforms)
•Proficiency in robotic simulation platforms (NVIDIA Isaac Sim and/or Gazebo)
•Experience with physical robots (arms, AMRs, mobile manipulators)
