Job Summary

Support analog circuit implementation teams by providing CAD tools and technical support for analog design and custom layout. Work with the Analog CAD team to assist the design/layout flow including simulation, optimization, layout, EM/IR and thermal analysis, reliability, and 2.5D/3D IC. Collaborate with Cadence engineering and use tools like Virtuoso, Pegasus, Quantus, and Composer Schematic, including AI infrastructure to improve design quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide tools and support to circuit implementation teams building analog circuits for applications including cars, cell phones, and data centers.
•Support the analog design and layout flow: design capture, pre/post-layout simulation, optimization, layout, and related analyses.
•Perform or support EM/IR analysis, thermal analysis, reliability, and 2.5D/3D IC-related activities.
•Collaborate with Cadence engineering and in-house users to drive, qualify, and develop Cadence tools and AI infrastructure.
•Build and improve tools to increase efficiency and circuit quality, and partner with design teams to refine design flows and methodologies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 130,200 - 241,800 annually

Key Requirements

•BSEE or MSEE (electrical or electronic engineering).
•Previous experience in Analog CAD support (design and layout).
•Very good understanding of circuit design and layout design.
•Exposure to Cadence Composer Schematic, Virtuoso Layout, and physical verification tools is a plus.
•Strong team skills, driven and self-motivated, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
