Job Summary

Drive mixed-method research to understand complex Trust & Safety risks and translate findings into policy, product, and operational decisions. Lead end-to-end research initiatives using statistical analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and modeling, alongside qualitative user research and stakeholder interviews. Build measurement frameworks for safety outcomes and policy effectiveness, analyze large-scale behavioral/enforcement data, and partner cross-functionally with Data Science, Policy, Product, Operations, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end mixed-method research initiatives, from problem framing and hypotheses to analysis, validation, and recommendations.
•Use quantitative methods (statistics, experimentation, causal inference, modeling) to identify trends, measure impact, and evaluate interventions.
•Apply qualitative methods (user research, case analysis, stakeholder interviews, ecosystem research) to understand behaviors, motivations, and emerging risks.
•Develop research and measurement frameworks for safety outcomes, policy effectiveness, enforcement quality, and user impact.
•Partner with Policy, Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate insights into policy and safety strategy decisions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in applied/quantitative research, data science, behavioral science, social science, or related fields.
•Strong statistics, experimentation, causal inference, and analytical modeling background.
•Experience applying qualitative research methods to understand human behavior or complex systems.
•Ability to combine multiple evidence sources to develop holistic, actionable recommendations.
•Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
