Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and continuously enhance the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including software models, entitlement records, license metrics, publisher packs, and software reclamation.
  • •Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle from request and procurement through deployment, optimization, compliance monitoring, and retirement.
  • •Ensure license compliance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate entitlement data and supporting software vendor audits.
  • •Design, implement, and continuously improve SAM processes, workflows, and governance standards, including publisher-specific licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP).
  • •Drive data integration, reporting, and transparency by connecting discovery, procurement, and deployment sources into ServiceNow SAM and creating compliance, spend, optimization, and lifecycle KPI dashboards.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of relevant experience in software asset management, ServiceNow ITAM, or IT asset management.
  • •Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, including practical use and ongoing optimization.
  • •Strong understanding of software asset data concepts such as discovery, normalization, usage metering, and entitlement management.
  • •Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, SAM, and configuration management principles.
  • •Relevant ServiceNow certifications, including ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferably CIS – Software Asset Management and Data Foundation).
