Lead computational fluid dynamics and thermodynamics work within the Technology Systems group, delivering high-quality simulation models and guiding engineering teams through design iterations. Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to departmental goals and long-term technology roadmap, including leading initiatives to improve processes and ways of working.
•Define and deliver computational fluid dynamics models to guide design iterations, and mentor the team on CFD approaches.
•Verify fluid performance using established test methodologies and develop new test methods to confirm product function and thermal protection.
•Take charge of the fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for assigned projects, ensuring successful execution and high-quality output against timelines.
•Provide requirements ownership and sign-off, update delivery teams on progress and risks, and collaborate to implement engineering solutions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelors degree in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical engineering (Master degree preferred).
•5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development, preferably in the consumer electrical appliance industry.
•In-depth knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
•Knowledge of flow measurement techniques including PIV, shadowgraphy, and pressure transducers.
•Advanced experience with Fluent/OpenFOAM and ANSA meshing (or relevant CFD/meshing tools), plus experience with measurement/data acquisition hardware/software.
