Job Summary

Design and support airborne radar antenna and electronic packaging across the full hardware lifecycle, from concept development through integration, test, production transition, and installation. Lead complex technical solutions and smaller project teams, run design trades from requirements, and produce detailed layouts and documentation using CAD tools. Interface with engineering leadership, support suppliers, and work in the company PDM/engineering change release processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support on major programs and coordinate with Lead Mechanical Engineers and Chief Engineers to meet design objectives.
•Lead smaller project teams through design development, ensuring technical data packages are created in line with procedures and program objectives.
•Develop unit design concepts from requirements and perform design trades to address complex technical challenges.
•Create detailed layouts and design documentation using CAD tools, supporting hardware integration and test.
•Support suppliers, understand Engineering Change Release and work within the company PDM system, and serve as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for a subsystem.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in STEM (or equivalent) and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with ANSI drawing standards.
•Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances).
•Experience with electronic packaging for airborne applications.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
