Job Summary

Build and operate reconciliation and control-plane systems that keep Grafana Cloud stack state aligned at scale. You’ll work on the AppCore Stacks squad to enable reliable stack creation, safe configuration rollouts, predictable migrations, and smoother incident recovery. Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, deployment configurations, and adjacent teams to improve operational efficiency, rollout mechanisms, and OnCall processes for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate reconciliation systems (including the SSS backend) to track desired stack state and detect/repair drift.
•Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployment configurations to keep stack lifecycle workflows reliable, observable, and resilient.
•Improve operational efficiency by reducing deployment complexity and contributing to the Stack Config Reconciliation effort.
•Manage rollout mechanisms for plugins, dashboards, data sources, Grafana versions, release channels, and stack-level configuration.
•Improve incident response and recovery for stack misalignment, reconciliation failures, and Hosted Grafana integration issues.

Salary: SEK 609,985 - 762,481

Key Requirements

•At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
•Experience working on a SaaS platform and familiarity with distributed systems concepts like scalability, multi-tenancy, and HA.
•Professional experience with Golang, working across backend services and application code.
•Ability to deliver projects iteratively from brainstorming through shipping to customers.
•Familiarity with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure and exposure to infrastructure-as-code tooling like Helm, Terraform, or Jsonnet.
