Job Summary

Lead day-to-day KYC and payment compliance operations for Airbnb’s Global Payments Operations. Serve as a subject matter expert for escalated and urgent cases, manage staffing and SLAs, and drive continuous improvements to KYC processes. Oversee KYC onboarding, remediation, and periodic reviews for individual and corporate customers, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML/CDD/EDD and sanctions screening. Prepare reports and support audits while coaching and developing KYC analysts.

•Serve as subject matter expert for escalated or urgent cases and issues.
•Track core operations and SLA/performance metrics (productivity, quality, TAT).
•Oversee KYC onboarding, remediation, and periodic review activities for individual and corporate customers, ensuring KYC/AML/CDD/EDD and sanctions-screening compliance.
•Coach, mentor, and develop team members (including KYC analysts) and lead process/tool/policy improvements and cross-functional projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 1,750,000 - 2,180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Law, or related field.
•5+ years of leadership and people management experience.
•3+ years of hands-on experience with KYC/AML, CDD, EDD, and sanctions screening.
•Strong understanding of global AML/CFT regulations and risk-based approach (RBA) for customer risk assessment.
•Experience with high-risk customer reviews including PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media investigations.
