Job Summary

Lead project controls activities for large-scale projects under the direction of the Project Manager, including planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, quality control, safety coordination, and subcontractor coordination. Build cost breakdown structures and baseline budgets, track expenses and analyze variances, and implement integrated cost and schedule controls. Partner with engineering and design teams on value-added cost-saving recommendations, maintain PMIS tools, and deliver client-ready monthly reports and performance updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Project Manager with planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety coordination, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical/support staff.
•Develop project cost breakdown structures and baseline budgets, and implement cost control procedures to track expenses and analyze cost variances.
•Collaborate with engineering and design teams to evaluate cost-saving options and recommend value-added changes to optimize project costs.
•Establish methods to measure project progress and use project performance data to assess cost performance and align cost and schedule management efforts.
•Manage change order processes, maintain financial reports and monthly roll-up summaries, support PMIS administration, and provide necessary documents and client reports as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, AACE CCP/CEP) are a plus.
•10 years of combined field and office project controls experience on large-scale projects.
•Extensive knowledge of cost estimating methodologies, cost control techniques, and schedule management best practices.
•Experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
•Experience working with and/or administering PMIS platforms such as Oracle Primavera Unifier, e-Builder, Procore, or similar.
