Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of Real Estate Associates and Development Project Managers across market analysis, site selection, feasibility, diligence, and entitlement/permitting.
  • •Negotiate commercial real estate transactions and secure site approvals from management.
  • •Set strategic direction and priorities for an assigned market portfolio and adjust based on market conditions and business needs.
  • •Review deal packages and entitlement/permitting schedules for accuracy before leadership approval.
  • •Coordinate handoff of fully entitled sites to the Construction PM team and manage architect/civil engineer workload to deliver on time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, urban planning, marketing, accounting, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of commercial real estate experience, ideally in site selection and entitlement/development.
  • •Experience leading and developing a team, with a demonstrated ability to grow talent into future leaders.
  • •Experience with commercial real estate acquisition/disposition, brokerage, and analytics.
  • •Experience with entitlement and permitting, including large industrial projects, plus familiarity with CoStar and lease/purchase agreement language.
