Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineers across the company to deliver an industry-leading developer experience, using tools like the TypeScript language server, lint tooling, and the Notion CLI to improve daily workflows.
  • •Research and evaluate new tooling to stay current with developments in the JavaScript ecosystem and tooling performance.
  • •Work deeply with GitHub and CI systems to ensure engineers can merge code quickly and safely, aiming for PR CI pipelines to finish within 15 minutes.
  • •Take ownership of the development environment and toolchain, and contribute to novel projects across the company to deliver impact.
  • •Advocate for developer experience and maintain open communication with engineers to understand bottlenecks and opportunities

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on software development experience in fast-paced environments
  • •Strong drive to improve developers’ productivity through better tooling and workflows
  • •Focus on user experience with emphasis on simplicity and ease-of-use
  • •Ability to multitask and communicate across teams; comfortable switching between projects
  • •Willingness to learn how things work and to explore third-party source code
