Support the construction of a new 300mm factory and sustainment operations in Lehi by driving construction safety programs. Partner with project teams to plan and conduct Job Hazard Analysis, develop work procedures, and evaluate safety and health risks. Perform audits and inspections, monitor ESHS leading indicators, investigate incidents, and liaise with regulatory agencies while reviewing permits and contractor lift plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Interface with the project team and participate in construction plans and team meetings.
•Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and pre-task planning to ensure safety requirements are incorporated into construction activities.
•Develop/approve work procedures and provide cost-effective risk reduction.
•Perform and support site audits and inspections; monitor ESHS leading indicator metrics and support root-cause analysis and incident investigation.
•Review contractor lift plans and permits (confined space, excavation, hot work, energized electrical work, LOTO) and serve as liaison with regulatory agencies; respond to emergency events.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, or a related field.
•5 years of experience in a safety-related role, especially in high-paced structural construction environments.
•Experience leading projects, initiatives, or programs.
•OSHA Construction Certifications.
