Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment and comply with all company safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • •Assist with keeping the asphalt plant running at normal efficiency by supporting daily schedules/estimates.
  • •Partner with plant employees and follow instructions from the foreman/superintendent/HR for plant operations.
  • •Help with plant duties such as shoveling, loading equipment, digging/spreading/leveling materials, and general maintenance.
  • •Report problems to the foreman or relevant managers and support additional duties as assigned (including using power/hand tools and performing basic equipment servicing).

Key Requirements

  • •High school education (GED preferred but not required).
  • •Articulating equipment experience required.
  • •Follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety policies and procedures.

  • •Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights up to 90 feet) and work nights/weekends as needed.
