Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan materials and determine demand by analyzing order requirements to define quantities, specifications, and delivery dates; create demand forecasts to ensure material availability.
  • •Maintain and update material master data to support inventory targets and smooth planning processes.
  • •Proactively identify supply bottlenecks and risks, perform root-cause analysis, and initiate countermeasures to protect delivery capability.
  • •Coordinate with production planners and the purchasing team to ensure timely provision of required materials.
  • •Monitor supplier performance and communicate on price, quantity, and quality topics in collaboration with the cross-functional team (CFT), including supplier visits.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical training with additional technician/master education or a technical degree, or long-term experience in operational material procurement for a mechanical engineering company.
  • •Supply Chain training such as APICS/CPIM or similar.
  • •At least 5 years of work experience in production/material planning with international supply chains.
  • •Proven experience in coordinating with and steering suppliers.
  • •First leadership experience is an advantage.
