Job Summary

Lead technical pre-sales for Twilio’s Communication Products, partnering with Account Executives on opportunity qualification, demos, Proof-of-Concepts, RFPs, and technical presentations. Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concept, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
•Lead the technical and product sale by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on how to use Twilio’s APIs.
•Act as a trusted advisor by uncovering customer technical pains through discovery and designing, demonstrating, and presenting innovative solutions.
•Build and present interactive, complex customer product demonstrations for Twilio’s Communications Products with strong relationships across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
•Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community by sharing knowledge and creating reusable demonstration materials and presentations.

Key Requirements

•5+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products or 6+ years supporting technical products with customer-facing experience, especially in delivery or consulting.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to gain audience confidence and explain complex topics to multiple levels.
•Ability to understand a customer’s communications needs and guide them to a technical solution.
•Software development knowledge in one or more of: backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP), web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, Angular), and REST APIs.
•Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
