Key Responsibilities

  • •Review plans and specifications and develop cost estimates with accurate quantities, sizes, configurations, voltage, and options for Trane materials, subcontractors, and non-Trane equipment.
  • •Provide estimating support to the equipment sales team and assist with bidding projects.
  • •Develop and discuss possible facility-related solutions with account managers, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and/or customers.
  • •Coordinate selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services for each project.
  • •Prepare, finalize, and review preliminary/final proposals, including equipment submittals and validation of equipment selection.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related study; or 1-3 years' related experience with estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management.
  • •Provide strong communication and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • •Prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • •Have familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required; must have a valid driver's license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations.
