Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor Data Center operations and HVAC performance to maintain optimal thermal environments for hardware.
  • •Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems; coordinate monthly/annual deep-service with contractors.
  • •Diagnose and repair fiber network infrastructure and server-level hardware issues as they arise.
  • •Identify and repair data center problems quickly to minimize downtime using logical troubleshooting.
  • •Assist in drafting SOPs and MOPs for maintenance activities and coordinating contractor/vendor relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical background with experience on computer/network gear as well as support infrastructure (HVAC and electrical).
  • •Proficient knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and electrical/mechanical systems used in a data center environment.
  • •Understanding of Transformers, PLCs, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, STS, ATS, PDUs, Chilled Water Systems, and Fire Suppression systems.
  • •Experience with data trending and analysis, including rapid learning of PC-based critical monitoring systems (EPMS/BMS).
  • •Expert knowledge in industrial safety best practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash protection (NFPA 70E), and OSHA regulations.
