Job Summary

Seeking an experienced EHS Leader for a TBM tunneling project to manage risk in underground operations. Embedded with field teams, you will ensure compliance with EHS regulations, lead incident investigations, conduct JHAs and toolbox talks, maintain documentation, and support emergency response training to continuously improve health, safety, and environmental outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor daily field operations to ensure compliance EHS regulations and company policies
•Perform regular tunnel and surface inspections, including pre-shift walkthroughs, equipment checks, air quality sampling, and confined space protocols
•Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventative action implementation
•Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and toolbox talks with crews
•Maintain EHS documentation, training records, and regulatory reports

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in construction or heavy industrial EHS roles - tunneling, mining, or oil & gas preferred
•Strong working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA (preferred), confined space, LOTO, and respiratory protection standards
•Experience conducting field audits and writing JHAs, incident reports, and environmental compliance documentation
•Comfortable working in underground environments and around heavy equipment
•CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification is a plus
