Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop system engineering plans, processes, system definitions, technical requirements, and system architectures.
  • •Manage technical requirements using tools and techniques such as DOORS and ComplyPro.
  • •Evaluate interrelationships between system requirements and system design/development requirements; develop scope of work and work packages as senior technical resource.
  • •Provide specialized technical input to studies and design; develop procedures to support high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
  • •Participate in multidisciplinary reviews; perform quality control on calculations/drawings; prepare technical specification sections; support engineering budget and schedule development.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree or equivalent education
  • •Chartered Engineer
  • •Experience of railway systems safety and assurance, including system safety and interoperability
  • •Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and regulations
