Job Summary

Contract Reviewer within Turner & Townsend’s Global Risk Management team to assess and mitigate contract-related risk in client and supplier agreements. Responsibilities include undertaking construction contract reviews, liaising with liability/insurance brokers, advising operational teams on contractual matters, supporting the RM process to expedite contracting, and contributing to risk management tools and compliance efforts. Hybrid work based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake construction contract reviews.
•Liaise with Professional liability and general insurance brokers to confirm coverage, respond to queries
•Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams (where requested) to resolve contractual matters
•Support operational teams through the RM process, help them to resolve issues and get into contract quicker
•Help to improve risk management tools, systems and processes

Key Requirements

•Law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience.
•Minimum 2 years in a corporate construction legal position, with previous experience in reviewing/re-drafting supplier and client construction contracts
•Strong administrative skillset – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
•Experience in contract development, supporting drafting bespoke contract schedules and clauses and reviewing contract documents prepared by others
•Ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust contract documents
